In July of 2010, I was looking for a new medical doctor so I went for an initial visit with a young woman doctor associated with the Trillium hospital across from Sherway Gardens. She was accepting new patients. I was asked to fill out some paperwork in the waiting room. Before even meeting the doctor, I was asked to follow someone into a room so that my weight could be checked as well as my blood pressure. My blood pressure was extraordinarily high. When I finally met the doctor, she said she would like to start me on at least three different medications. This was before any bloodwork. I was scared!!!!!!!!!Although I understood her concern, I was not willing to start all that medication immediately. I knew I needed to check out other options. I left her office.
I called Pamela Wilson who I was seeing at the time who was using a biofeedback machine. There was no answer. (If homeopathics was indicated, I would drive over to see Humesh and pick up the recommended medicines.) I phoned Humesh. He answered right away and was willing to see me as soon as I could get there. I have been seeing him ever since. He was there for me when I needed him.
Of all the health care practitioners I have seen over the years, Humesh stands out. When I felt scared, he reassured me. He didn’t recommend homeopathic treatments out of fear. The impression I got was that he actually wanted to support me and my body to heal itself. Regardless of the blood pressure monitor readings, he stayed calm. He didn’t seem scared for me. I trusted him to support me on the journey back to health. It was going to take time.
The other day I was in a public school in Etobicoke to drop something off for a friend. I saw someone I hadn’t seen since I retired in 2007. We recognized each other and he told me I was looking “younger”; to which I responded: “I am feeling younger”. That’s the truth. I do feel younger. Since I have been seeing Humesh regularly (July, 2010) I have stopped drinking coffee completely. I feel younger. I feel calmer. I feel more at peace.
I went to see a sleep study specialist in October. He took my blood pressure in his office: 130/90. I am sure the young doctor I saw back in July of 2010 would be shaking her head in disbelief. She wouldn’t believe that I could have experienced this much healing without prescription medications. I have now been described as being in “radiant health”.
At the age of 60, I am preparing to move from Toronto (where I have lived all my life) to Guelph. I know of only one other person in Guelph. I am excited. I have lots of energy for this move and I am ahead of schedule as far as organizing, packing and sorting. I could not have made this decision in 2010. I wasn’t feeling well enough. I didn’t have the energy for a big change/move like this.
I received an email from my closest friend a few days ago. In the email, she wrote: “Yesterday was such a treat for me - to be with you, and also to see you so happy. It's like you have been living under a fog and are rising up and out. As Nelson Mandela said in his inaugural speech, "This is living!" She has seen the change in me.
I have felt totally supported by Humesh. I feel as though he cares about me. He wants me to have the energy to live a fulfilling life. He wants me to be happy. I’m not just another patient. I trust him with my life!!!!
It doesn’t get any better than that!
Dr. Humesh is always a pleasure to meet and spend time with. I had back pain as a result of an accident and Dr. Humesh helped me heal very quickly and painlessly. He is always a source of great inspiration and is truly knowledgeable about the world. One thing I will never forget that he asked me is, "What is the opposite of evil?" and I said, the opposite is Live. And he nodded, yes, and that's exactly what you have to do. Thank you for being such a wonderful person and sharing your personal truths.
